The opening weekend for MRT was a great success. Saturday’s weather was a little wet, but the kids were troopers and everything went off without a hitch. We had smiling faces and the kids and coaches were stoked to get out on the snow. Sunday had better conditions and by the end of the day it was snowing hard. The snow dances have been working.
The coaches primarily focused on free skiing and just getting the athletes back in the swing of things. While we all want to get back up to full speed, we’re working on progression from the boot up and ankle flexion. It’s going to be a great season.
The forecast is looking snowy, so make sure you leave early next weekend and prepare for slick roads. See you on the hill!
