Our Youth Ski League
Programs for skiers age 11-12 provide the very finest coaching and instruction
in the latest alpine ski racing technique and tactics. Whether you are just
checking out the sport of alpine ski racing, a serious skier looking to improve
your skills or plan on competing in the Pacific Northwest Division of the United
States Ski Association’s Youth Ski League Races and the Mt. Hood Mitey Mite
Council Circuit, the Meadows Race Team has what you are looking for!

Elite
Description:
This full service
program specifically designed and engineered for skiers age 11-12 is loaded with
all of the options! It begins in October and runs through April each year.
This program the MRT Athlete Management System®, consisting of goal setting,
tracking, periodic athlete/parent/coach conferences, sport specific psychology,
advanced dryland conditioning, equipment service/consulting/representation, 4 on
snow training sessions per week at Mt. Hood Meadows, advanced video analysis and
cataloging, Fall

and Winter
[2]
Projects included. This program is for the more competitive racers. The J4
Elite Group will train with the MRT Junior Groups periodically and will be
teamed with the MRT J3’s as training partners for the season.

Development
Description:
Our Development Programs
for skiers age 11-12 provides all of the premiums of our Elite program but is
limited to just 2 on snow training days per week at Mt. Hood Meadows, beginning
in December and running through March. This is a great way participate in our
junior racing program with a reduced time commitment.
