Our Junior Programs for skiers age 15-20 provide the very finest coaching and instruction in the latest alpine ski racing technique and tactics.  Whether you are just checking out the sport of alpine ski racing, a High School Racer looking to improve your skills or plan on competing in the Pacific Northwest Division of the United States Ski Association and racing the FIS Circuit or looking for a spot on the US Ski Team, the Meadows Race Team has what you are looking for!
 


Junior FIS (J1/J2) Elite


Description:
This full service program specifically designed and engineered for skiers age 15–20 is loaded with all of the options!  It begins in October and runs through May each year.  This program the MRT Athlete Management System®, consisting of goal setting, tracking, periodic athlete/parent/coach conferences, sport specific psychology, advanced dryland conditioning, equipment service/consulting/representation, 4 on snow training sessions per week at Mt. Hood Meadows, advanced video analysis and cataloging.   Fall [1] and Winter [2] Projects are also included but may have additional fees.

Training:

Thursday & Friday Afternoons/Evenings, Weekends & Wintercamp.

Junior FIS (J1/J2) Development


Description:
Our Development Programs for skiers age 15-20 provides all of the premiums of our Elite program but is limited to just 2 on snow training days per week at Mt. Hood Meadows.  This is a great way participate in our junior racing program with a reduced time commitment [3] .

[1] Except MRT Fall Canada Project which has an additional fee.
[2] Travel to FIS Events have additional fees.  PNSA Divisional Travel has an MRT travel assessment of $25.00 per day.

[3] Athletes in the FIS (J1/J2) Development Program will also pay an additional travel premium of $75.00 per race event in addition to our posted travel assessment.
